Leah is a 2010 graduate from the AVEDA Institute Des Moines. Leah started working at Le reve when they first opened in 2006 as front desk. From there she decided she wanted to make working in a salon her career so she moved to Des Moines for school and came right back to Le reve when she graduated.

Leah and her husband, Jacob, have been married for 16 years and have three kids: Easton, Emme, and Everson. Between going to her kids’ activities and sports, you’ll usually find them at a ball field or in a gym. Leah also coaches varsity volleyball at West Branch High School.

Why Aveda?
I had gone to Sabina for my hair for as long as I can remember and just loved the smell. Then working front desk there and having access to all the products just grew the love and along with their mission and naturally derived products, they just can’t be beat.

Why the beauty industry?
I love being able to be someone’s “daymaker”  being able to make your client feel happy, and beautiful after they come in to the salon to have a service with you. This is a industry that allows us to use our creative, artistic skills to personalize our services to our guest.
